Summer Technology Maintenance

Since we've been working at home for two+ months, there is a good chance that you have files on your hard drive that are NOT backed up or synced to your OneDrive. PLEASE check before bringing your laptop to Technology - everything on your laptop will be erased and reimaged so those files will be lost if you don't save themSo, SAVE any files on your hard drive to OneDrive.  You also need to make sure that your OneDrive Sync is set up properly (see below how to check this.)

Also, any software or apps that you have installed (ExamView, Pearson, Office 2013 or 2016, anything that you have that is specific for your content or classes) will have to be reinstalled by the tech dept - you will NOT be able to install these programs when you get your laptop back because we will no longer have admin rights. There is a form to fill out that you can submit when you take your laptop and they will install those programs.

The two places you likely have files are the Documents folder or the Desktop. But if you have created other folders for your documents, make sure you copy those also.

Copy any files you need to keep to your OneDrive. You should have the OneDrive accessible in File Explorer. If not, please let Robin know and submit a work order in Eduphoria. You need to get this connected so your files are saved properly.

In the bottom, right-hand corner by the time/date you should see a cloud icon. When you hover over this icon, it SHOULD say up to date. If not, click on the cloud and make sure you are signed in to OneDrive with your Microsft login information. It may have disconnected while working from home. If you DO NOT check this, it is possible that files you THINK are being saved to OneDrive are only on your hard drive. So please verify this!

If you need help, please let me know!

Thank you!
